ABSTRACT: The aim of this research was to determine the perception of the host community in the potential revival of nighttime tourism in Intramuros. This is a descriptive study that used cluster sampling technique. Survey questionnaires were used to gather information needed and have gone through a validation process by the three (3) experts their field of study. The Pearson Chi-Square Test of independence was used ti find out if there is a significant difference between the two groups of respondents perception in the potential revival of nighttime tourism in Intramuros. With the weighted mean, majority of the participants strongly agreed in the potential revival of nighttime tourism in Intramuros. The study also showed that there was no significant difference the two groups of respondents perception. From the results of the gathered findings, conclusions were obtained and the following recommendations were suggested: host community must actively participate in decision-making process regarding nighttime tourism projects or other tourism activities in their community in order to safeguard their own welfare, benefit and own improvement. Business owners must invest in tourism destinations like Intramuros and take part in nighttime tourism or other tourism activities held within to meet the demands of the tourists and further develop the tourist destination's investment opportunities.
