SUMMARY: The Shepherd's Café was established during the pandemic by a family who lost a source of income when their matriarch was not able to receive salary and reimbursement from the travel agency she worked for. With the uncertainty of times, she started online selling locally processed meat products (bagnet, tocino, longanisa, lechon belly) and other items. On the side, they also cooked food and sold it to their community during weekends. According to the owners, their faith was tested because of the mounting bills and debts that were carried by their mother's salary previously. And Psalm 23 became their everyday prayer during the most challenging times of their family: The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
