Abstract The study explores the effectiveness of installment plans in managing household debt as a basis for maintaining financial liquidity among the households of students from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM)-College of Business Administration (CBA). Drawing from existing literature and data, the research delves into the role of installment plans in debt management and financial liquidity, particularly in light of varying socioeconomic factors. Through surveys and data analysis, the study investigates usage trends, perceptions, and influencing factors related to installment plans among PLM-CBA student households. Findings reveal the significant impact of installment plans on debt management practices, highlighting the need for improved financial literacy and budget management among Filipino households. Furthermore, the research provides recommendations for households, financial institutions, and future researchers to enhance financial management practices and promote responsible utilization of installment plans. Overall, the study contributes to the understanding of installment plans' role in household debt management and provides insights for informed decision-making in maintaining financial liquidity.
