EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Name of the Business: The partners have seen the growing market of people prefer living in the comfort and luxury of condominiums give only a little space for each unit. Thus, in light with this factor, the partners decided to put up the space-saving furniture business. The name of the business Ahorro de Espacio, was from Spanish origin meaning saves space. This phrase perfectly sums up the main purpose of the business to customers, to provide them with furniture that maximizes their small space's capacity. Location Ahorro de Espacio is situated at the ground floor of the condominium names Seibu Towers located at 6th Avenue cor. 24th Street, Bonifacio Global City. The operations will carry on this space at Seibu Towers contributed by one of the partners covering a total of 150 sqm of two floors. The first floor has 100 sqm of total space catering the showroom and store of the business. The second floor holds the office of the business location, which is in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), is a very strategic place for almost any kind of business. BGC has a growing trend in economic and business growth on their performance from the past few years. Also, the specific location of the business , situated at a condominium building is accessible for the target market and the incidental market. The security around BGC is also excellent considering that many security guards, safety personnel and CCTV camera are settled within the area. General Description of the Project The business aims to provide the customers space-saving furniture not only add beauty and comfort to the customer's home, but also, maximizing the space's potential. The business markets high-end products at a very competitive price. A number of existing businesses that offer the same nature as the company's are already out in the market. The major competitor's of the business are Bo Concept, SB Furniture, Blims Fine Furniture, City Mattress, Pandayan Furniture, Ystilo Furniture, and Studio Dimensione, which are located within BGC. The stylish space-saving furniture offered to the market are designed by the business designer. History The partners who are also the brainchild of the business, came up with business because of the increasing number of people who prefers to live in high-rise condominiums. The fact that condominium units have limited space; this gave the partners the business identity. Major Assumptions and Summary of Findings and Conclusions Marketing Feasibility The business target market is the condominium unit owners within Bonifacio Global City. BGC currently caters 22 condominium buildings thus, having a very big market. The demand for furniture in the area is very positive because more and more investors and developers consider establishing their business within the area.Space-saving furniture are a new trend to the industry thus, setting up a new trend may attract more customers. Intensive promotional activities will be launched by the company before the commencement of the business to inform the public especially the target market of the upcoming business. Aborro de Espacio will operate daily from 10:am to 9pm except on regular holidays. Management Feasibility The management is n indispensable part of any business. The management is responsible in putting the business goals and objectives into reality using the most effective and cost efficient way. The management's main responsibilities include staffing, training of employees, maintaining controls, client satisfaction, strategic planning and decision making. Technical Feasibility Ahorro de Espacio aims to provide the market with space-saving furniture that are not only stylish but are also useful and usually has dual purpose. By this new trend in the furniture industry makes the best out of a very limited space. There shall be 19 persons in charge of the operations of the business whose schedules are divided accordingly. The business handles its operations in a 100sqm building space improved to match and cater the customer's taste. The floor plan indicates that two floors would be provided fof the business operations. The first floor is for the showroom and the second floor is for the company office.
