ABSTRACT: The study is a content analysis on the character of Super Inggo as a model of a Filipino child hero. A triangulation of the main research design supported with in-depth interview and a Focus Group Discussion are performed. Super Inggo is an animated character taken from the program Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa (the animated series) which is the first animated series of ABS-CBN channel 2. It is a full-Filipino produced program with the attributes of the Japanese Mangga. The study aims to show how a super hero figure, possibly represent an image of a Filipino child hero. The research provides a culminated documentation of the articles about Super Inggo (the animated series). The Morphology of Folktale written by Valdimir Propp is the main source of the analysis.
