ABSTRACT: The study focused on the perception of the riding public and other stakeholders towards the Strong Republic Nautical Highway system as a means of travelling and convergence. The result of the study will be significant and beneficial to the Mass Communication students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila specifically those taking up Public Relations; Other Communication Students; Communication and Transportation Educators; Public Relations Practitioners and Future Researchers. In addition, the study focused on the riding publics and stakeholders taking the three SRNH routes namely; Western, Eastern and Central. In order to get the desired respondents, the researchers purposively picked bus terminals located in Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue otherwise known as EDSA, the haven of travelers post (DPWH Road Route Study). Subsequently, the riding public was purposively divided into three groups based on their destination encompassing the said routes. From each route the researchers chose each respondent via simple random sampling to guarantee that everyone has the equal chance to be chosen. The researchers used the 100 statistical boundary for the riding public which is the acceptable sample size for academic purposes for quantitative research as noted by Cora Arboleda (2003). In addition, 10 stakeholders were selected via stratified random sampling for they will be divided into strata coming from various industries. The stakeholders were composed of the following three bus liners coming from the three main nautical highway routes, two shipping lines; one cargo company; two staple; one medical supplier, and one beverage company. Nonetheless, the researchers used seven stakeholders which responded to the survey and/or interview requests. Key Informants conversely who have satisfied the criteria set by the researchers were present to validate each of the study's elements. Survey questionnaires. Interviews schedules and Matrix were the instruments needed for the completion of the study. These instruments were sent via-e-mail and personal visit.
