SUMMARY: Ever since, man continues to seek and search for means and ways to make life more comfortable. This is perhaps the reason why Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone, or why Tomas Edison ended the reign of gasoline-fueled lamps or perhaps why the Wright Brothers decided to roam the world not by land or water but by air, as well. It is such that man's insatiability has made him continually discover things that would make life more comfortable for him and other men. Thus, control systems were developed and introduced. First, electronic devices were created. And now with the advent of computer technology devices are now automated. Our design proposal entitled, CENTRALIZED LIGHTING SYSTEM is an innovation aimed at conserving is left of our resources. With this, we interfaced our design to a computer. Since the computer acts as the main switch, the computer would be able to switch on the computer when not in use and be able to turn it off whenever not in use. In our opinion aside from conserving electricity this would conserve human resources. Another very clear objective of this design, is to able to control the operation of a simple light switch. Imagine although you are far from the switch of a building, one could easily manipulate the operation of the light switch so that one need not do it manually one by one. In case of emergency like whenever there is a fire, it would be a simple task turn of all the light. With these things un mind. The group was able to device a circuit aimed at fulfilling these objective.
