ABSTRACT: This study aimed to assess the Service Physical Education Program at the Batangas State University system by looking at the assessment of the administrators, faculty and students on the implementation of the Physical Education Program considering its program components and attitudes of PE teachers towards physical education with the end in view of proposing a revitalized physical education program. Research design was descriptive with the use of a questionnaire as data gathering instrument. Respondents of the study were 14 administrators, 34 faculty members and 220 third year students. Statistical tools were percentage, weighted mean and ANOVA. The findings revealed that the implementation of the tertiary service physical education program at the BSU system considering program components attainment of objectives, curriculum, teaching effectiveness of faculty and adequacy of facilities, equipment and supplies and instructional materials was evident to great extent. Generally, there were positive attitudes towards physical education except on the concerns on reducing the time allocation for PE and that PE is mainly sports and play. The objectives of the PE program are believed to be the best indicators of good PE performance, while the least indictors is the facilities, equipment and supplies. Results revealed that the administration, faculty and students are unanimous in their assessments of the extent of implementation of the tertiary service physical education program. In the light of the findings, one of the recommendations was the implementation of the proposed revitalized tertiary service physical education program to enhance physical education instruction to students of the BSU system.
