ABSTRACT: Prenatal care services are rendered to improve the quality health of expectant mothers during the whole pregnancy. The researchers examined the different factors that affect the utilization of prenatal care among pregnant women which includes the demographic profile that is divided into personal profile and socio-cultural profile, the knowledge of pregnant women on the benefits of prenatal care in terms of successful deliveries and prevention of complication . This study was certainly crucial since the results of the study will serve as the basis for the guideline development of the researcher to an improve utilization of prenatal care services by pregnant women which can partake in the achievement of a healthy and successful outcome of pregnancy. The respondents of the study were selected through purposive sampling technique. The respondents of the study were composed of pregnant mothers who utilize prenatal care services in Aurora Health Center. A survey questionnaire was used as the main data-gathering instrument for this study. It was divided into two main sectors: a profile and the survey proper. The survey proper explored the factors that may affect the individuals utilization of prenatal care services. It was divided into three, particularly the knowledge about prenatal care, belief and feelings toward prenatal care services and extent of utilization of prenatal care services among pregnant women. The findings showed that in terms of age there was a significant difference in the extent of utilization of prenatal care services of pregnant women when grouped according to age in such a way that the younger the age, the more likely they are to utilized prenatal care services. It also showed that there was a significant difference in the extent of utilization of prenatal care services of pregnant women when grouped according to educational attainment in such a way that educated people are open and ready to gasp new and timely ideas. In terms of belief, that was a significant difference in the extent of the utilization of prenatal care services in such a way that values can greatly affect the behavior of the pregnant women towards prenatal care. In addition, there was a significant difference in the extent of the utilization of prenatal care services of when grouped according to feelings in such a way that the emotional aspect can influenced how the pregnant women can be encouraged to utilized the services. The level of knowledge regarding the benefits of prenatal care services had a significant relationship to the utilization of prenatal care services of pregnant women in such a way that the more knowledgeable the pregnant women is, the more she is well informed regarding the utilization of prenatal care which then results to greater extent of utilization of prenatal care services.
