ABSTRACT: Objective: To describe the job status of registered PWDs residing in Manila and working in selected Manila government-owned institutions in terms of Job satisfaction, mismatch and adequacy. Participants: Forty-five participants ages 25-60 years old (Mean = 40.2), who are registered PWDs in Manila and working on selected Manila local government-owned institutions (Manila City Hall, Ospital ng Maynila, Gat. Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center) for at least 1 year and a graduate of any four-year course. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted at Manila City Hall, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center and Ospital ng Maynila. Questionnaires (Disability Information Sheet) were given to the head of the administrative offices of the three institutions and were given instructions as to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and upon giving out the survey forms to the participants. The participants were requested to fill out a consent form and answer the questionnaires. The accomplished survey forms were to be collected and each participant's answer per institution was tallied and the mean score was computed on each question. Weighted mean on each scale was also computed to determine the overall response of the employed PWDs toward their work in terms of their satisfaction, mismatch and adequacy and was interpreted using a scale. Results: A weighted mean of 4.37, 4.23 and 4.29 were gathered for the tallied results for the job satisfaction; 3.82, 3.98, 4.05 for job mismatch and 2.71, 2.44, 2.68 for job adequacy as to OM, GABMMC and MCH, respectively. Conclusion: In general, the job status of PWD employees, which entails job Satisfaction, Mismatch, and Adequacy; individually analyzed amongst the Ospital ng Maynila, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, and Manila City; showed that all 3 institutions are highly satisfied and lowly mismatched; averagely adequate (Manila City Hall and Ospital ng Maynila) and lowly adequate (Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center).
