Executive Summary a. Business Description Nocturnal Eats is a nighttime kitchenette that offers its target market a range of healthier, more convenient, and more affordable Filipino foods. Bento means Japanese-style home-packed meals, while Nocturnal Eats is a small kitchenette uniquely offering Filipino cuisine. One of the features of Filipino culture is the idea of eating rice and other foods high in carbohydrates three times a day as the business operates throughout the night. The mainly targets the workers and all residents of Makati City who want to experience the delightful food inspired by the Japanese bento meal style, which primarily serves a meal that contains rice, fish or meat dish, vegetable, and fruits that can be a side dish in a bento box meal for the takeout and delivery that is divided into several parts to hold different types of dishes. Reasons why bento could be good for customers: • Bentos are healthy: Customers can be sure they are eating the freshest food possible without any additions or chemicals when they consistently prepare them. • Bentos are balanced: The standard components of a bento are rice, fish or meat, and pickled, raw, or cooked veggies. They may complete the meal by simply adding dessert. Nocturnal Eats is a quick-service business primarily serving its customers through takeout and delivery. It will provide various Filipino cuisines with excellent value pricing, fun packaging, and a good atmosphere. The business will serve and produce its products and allow the customers to choose the products/ food they want to buy that are available on the menu b. Management Feasibility This section explains the job and responsibilities, authority structure, and personnel requirements. The core element of management is that each action or choice should advance achieving a clearly defined goal. Nocturnal Eats uses a general partnership form of business organization. Nocturnal Eats will be established as a general partnership with five (5) individuals. All partners are personally liable for all business debts and share responsibilities. Each general partner is responsible for the company’s assets and liabilities. The organizational structure comprises the financial manager, marketing manager, operational manager, administration manager, human resource manager, customer service, kitchen staff, and delivery rider. The pre-operating activities were performed from the first week of February 2023 until the last week of September. Lastly, the operation of the firm will commence in October 2023. c. Marketing Feasibility The proposed business location is at 4722 Eduque Street, corner of Salamanca Street, Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City, Because Nocturnal Eats aims to penetrate the market with a nighttime service providing healthy home-cooked bento meals that are Filipino cuisine. Since the size of the market in Makati is 674,327, the projected population might increase over time. This shows that the opportunity for Nocturnal Eats has a wide range in our locations area. The target market is made up of people who are residents of Makati, workers at graveyard shifts, students at night, and people who pass by. The population matures, increasing their demand for home-cooked meals that are healthy. The packaging also aligns with the area waste management plan, which is why the packaging design and material will be eco-friendly to help the environment with every meal. Since Nocturnals servers at night, people working during those hours and craving food tend to buy processed meals. Eating out leads to unhealthy eating habits and is expensive. Everyone wants to eat healthy food, especially in the age range of 20 to 50. The negative side is that people nowadays prefer fast food since meal preparation is time-consuming and less convenient. But, with this business, Nocturnal Eats provides convenient and affordable bento meals, its market share grows yearly, as does consumer demand. d. Technical Feasibility The emphasis of this component is on Nocturnal Eats’ operation and production. In the technical aspect, fixed assets, supplies, and utilities are listed as they will be necessary for the business’s production, operation, and logistics. Also, the store location, layouts, and floor plan are included as they will ensure efficient customer movement throughout the business. All of the costs of every dish that the business will serve are included in the technical aspect so that the cost of every product to be sold is justifiable based on the price of each raw material and the quantity of the dish needed. Moreover, as in every business, sanitation, and waste management are included. Proper sanitation and waste management are also crucial as they could determine how clean the business is on its production and how cautious it is about the possible food waste that might be produced in every operation. e. Financial Feasibility The agreement of each general partner’s share and dividend, as well as other matters relating to Nocturnal Eats’ financial capabilities, were all addressed by the financial feasibility. It is assumed that the business members are all qualified professionals rather than just students. The total capital needed for the business to run is approximately Php 3,500,000. The five partners will allocate Php 700,000 each for their share. They also agreed that 10% of their profit would be retained for any possible expenditures. In the event of Loss. Additional investment will be made. The basis for the business’s sales when preparing the expected financial statements is the demand in the targeted area and the supply that the business can deliver. Socio-Economic Feasibility This component emphasizes Nocturnal Eats’ socio-economic contributions to society, the economy, and the government- the planned project’s contribution to the government as a taxpayer. Every business is accountable for timely tax payments because taxes are the government’s primary source of revenue. The proposed project also contributes to the economy because it will help the nation’s farmers and towns. The possibility of new professional prospects is another benefit of supplying work. The initiative that has been recommended promotes healthy living, which the world needs. Meats, vegetable, and fruits that are natural and fresh will be offered to the clients. Finally, to preserve and advance Filipino foods among other nations and Filipinos’ hearts, Nocturnal Eats will emphasize them.
