ABSTRACT : This article considers the extent to which feminism and Gender Studies courses adequately explore diverse erotic desires in the Caribbean region. It offers a comparative investigation of questionnaire responses from Black female undergraduate students in England and Jaimaca to assess the connections between their perceptions about sexual differences. The article discusses the necessity for progressive teaching methods that encourage students of African descent to affirm their awareness about sexual diversity. It addresses the manner that such learning experiences can enable students to overcome the internalization of regressive cultural expectations to create liberating sexual relationship.
