Formatted contents note ABSTRACT: Background: The objective of this study was to measure if the levels of perceived stress and positive thinking among graduating college students differ when grouped according to gender and if there is a significant relationship between perceived stress and positive thinking among respondents. The aim of the percent study was to devise an intervention program that could help the college students to manage their stress, stressors, and well-being by promoting positive thinking through positive emotions. Methods: One hundred thirty-one graduating college students from the College of Science of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila aged 17 to 21 years old completed the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Positive Thinking Scale (PTS). The researcher used SPSS to analyze the collected data, statistical tests such as Pearson correlation coefficient and Independent-Measures t-Test. Results: The p-value in examining the perceived stress level of male and female respondents is (p = .49) whereas positive thinking level is (p = .73) which indicates that there is no significant difference in the level of the variables among the respondents. The Pearson Correlation Coefficient for the two variables is ( r = -.63) which indicates a strong significant negative correlation between the two variables.
