ABSTRAK: Ang pag-aaral na ito ay tungkol sa Epekto ng Text messaging sa Kasanayang Pagsulat ng mga Mag-aaral sa Ikasampung Baitang sa Mataas na Paaralang Esteban Abada: Isang Pagsusuri. Ang text messaging ay hindi na marahil bago sa nakararami at kapansin-pansin ang mga naidudulot nito lalo na sa mga mag-aaral. Kaya't layunin ng pag-aaral na ito na alamin ang epekto ng text messaging sa kasanayang pagsulat ng mga mag-aaral sa ikasampung baitang ng Mataas na Paaralang Esteban R. Abada sa Maynila. Sinikap sagutin ng mga mananaliksik ang sumusunod na katanungan. 1. Ano-ano ang mga texting attribute ng mga tagatugon batay sa: a. Taon ng paggamit ng cellphone; b. Dalas ng pateteks? 2. Ano ang kanilang nakuhang marka sa pormal na sulatin? 3. May kinalaman ba ang mga texting attribute sa kasanayang pagsulat ng mga mag-aaral batay sa: a. Taon ng paggamit ng cellphone; b. Dalas ng pagteteks? Ang mga kalahok ay binubuo ng 111 mag-aaral - mula lamang sa piling pangkat na tinuturuan ng napiling guro - bago bigyan ng talatanungan ay tiniyak na ang napiling kalahok ay maroon naipasang output o pormal na sulatin sa kanyang guro.Sa pamamagitan ng talatanungan ay inalam ang taon ng kanilang paggamit ng cellphone at ang kanilang dalas ng pagteteks. Sinuri rin ang kanilang mga sulating pormal na ipinasa sa kanilang guro. Mula sa mga ito, inalam kung may kinalaman ang mga texting attribute sa kasanayang pagsulat ng mga mag-aaral. Nakita sa pag-aaral na limangpung bahagdan o 50% ng mga mag-aaral ay apat hanggang pitong taon (4-7) nang gimagamit ng cellphone at 54% ang nagsabi na sila ay paminsan-minsan lamang kung magteks. Kaya't sa kabuuan, nakita sa pag-aaral na walang kinalaman ang mga texting attribute sa kasanayang pagsulat ng mga mag-aaral. Iminumungkahi sa susunod na mananaliksik na gamitin ang mga tagatugon na sumagot sa madalas o hindi madalas na nagteteks upang higit na Makita ang kinalaman ng mga texting attribute sa kasanayang pagsulatr ng mga mag-aaral. |
