Formatted contents note ABSTRACT: This study examines the financial challenges faced by the batch of 2025 graduating BS Entrepreneurship students at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM)and their impact on the profitability of their Business Plan Implementation. Student entrepreneurs at PLM encounter significant financial obstacles, including limited access to capital, escalating operational costs, and budgeting difficulties, which impede the sustainability and growth of their businesses. This research investigates how these challenges influence profitability, measured through Gross Profit Margin (GPM) and Net Profit Margin (NPM), while considering the moderating effects of business-related profiles. A quantitative research approach was employed, gathering data from 134 students via an online survey, with statistical analysis conducted using IBM SPSS 25. The findings reveal that operational costs pose the greatest burden, with rising expenses in raw materials, rent, and utilities directly affecting profit margins. Limited access to capital and financial mismanagement further exacerbates these challenges, while external factors such as inflation and unforeseen events contribute to revenue instability. However, businesses that implement effective financial planning and adaptive strategies are more likely to sustain profitability. The study highlights the importance of strategic budgeting, improved access to capital, and better management of operational costs. It recommends a three-tiered approach to support student entrepreneurs: immediate financial literacy workshops, mid-term partnership with microfinance institutions for accessible funding, and long-term advocacy for enhanced government support. Three strategies are vital in helping student entrepreneurs navigate financial challenges, sustain their businesses, and achieve long-term success.
