Formatted contents note ABSTRACT: At present, people have grown fond of raising birds. Birds require different specialized habitats to cater to their unique needs, and cages that allow space for ample movement help promote their well-being. The changing needs of pet bird owners and avian enthusiasts are not frequently met by the conventional bird cages as features that improve owner convenience, automate necessary cared duties, and support bird well-being are absent from many traditional cages. The study aims to address the challenge in ensuring optimal bird care by developing an IoT Based Smart Bird cage integrated with a water filtering and monitoring system. This includes automated bird feeding, water quality maintenance, a monitoring system. This includes automated bird feeding, water quality maintenance, a waste process, and temperature and humidity regulation. The system utilizes the ESP32, sensors and remote monitoring using the Blynk Application to enhance bird well-being and support bird owners in maintaining a healthy environment for their birds. The developers used Developmental research design to develop the “An IoT-Based Smart Bird Cage with a Water Filtering and Monitoring System for Birds” as it supports the entire process of creating and refining the project. The Agile: Scrum framework had been chosen by the researchers as it works well for complicated and dynamic projects. The results showed that the system has successfully met its objective in implementing an Automated Bird Feeder, Water Dispenser with Water Quality Monitoring and Remote-Controlled Conveyer Belt for Waste Disposal. The Automated Bird Feeder dispenses food using servo motors without requiring manual input. The pH Sensor efficiently monitors water quality for the Water Dispenser, and when the system detects that the water is unsafe, the water is disposed and refilled with clean water. The Conveyer Belt for Waste Disposal effectively fulfills its purpose by removing waste build up once activated by through the blynk IoT Application, reducing the need for manual cleaning. Overall the project successfully provides an efficient and convenient way for owners to monitor and manage their pets remotely.
