Formatted contents note Abstract: The Novel Corona Virus, widely known as the COVID-19 is an epidemic which originally started at Wuhan China in 2019 and later on spread all over the world and became globally deemed as a pandemic. The former president Rodrigo Duterte then announced an enhanced community quarantine or ECQ in Luzon, the nation's most populous island the moment the second case of COVID-19 in the Manila, Philippines has been confirmed by Department of Health (DOH). Schools has then transitioned from formal face to face classes to remote learning system, also known as online class, wherein student and faculties would only meet and take sessions virtually. Later on, coping with the pandemic and living in a new normal, several higher educational institutions in the nation made use of blended learning, an educational strategy that combines conventional education with online learning. However, the use of emergency remote teaching presented challenges to both learners and practitioners. Specific problems and concerns about students' experiences arose for roughly half of the remaining semesters. Therefore, it is relevant to analyze how learners cope with online learning and to identify the challenges the students faced
along the way.
With the global economy still living with the effects of the pandemic, there have been observations that the employability rate of newly graduated students continues to decline. It is therefore important to identify the skills that the graduate students must possess to be employable in the 'New Normal Workplace' as the researchers seek to identify the difficulties facing the Tourism and Hospitality Management Batch 2022 graduates of "Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila" due to the pandemic.
