This qualitative research study determined the impact of Ugbo's street gastronomic culinary experiences on the community's residents and the influence that it brought in Ugbo in terms of popularity, sudden development of food small-scale businesses, and the transformationof their neighborhood from residential area into street food market that affects the daily lives of the residents of Ugbo street. The researchers used one-on-one interview method to gather accurate data and information from the residents of Ugbo street. The researchers concluded that the respondents have different perception on the sudden trend of Ugbo and the it brought positive and negative impact to the residents. The small-scale businesses in the are have brought income and convenience for the majority, and disturbance for some. There are also things that are needed to improve like (1) parking spaces, (2) proper waste management, and (3) security. The present study has contributed to the locale of the study, Ugbo Street, wherein it can be used as a guie for the local government unit in order to improve the things that are needed to improve to give a great experence for the residents, business owners, and visitors. |
