The Magsaysay MOL Ship Management, Inc. (MMSM) organization is now overseeing fleet of twenty-three (23) vessels and remains resolute in its pursuit of achieving uninterrupted operational performance. MMSM is striving to expand its vessel management portfolio through partnership, in anticipation of the projected increase in demand for dry bulk commodities within the worldwide industrial sector. The primary objectives encompass achieving zero fatalities, zero significant marine events, zero instances of oil contamination, and zero occurrences of cargo damage. MMSM mainly aims to deliver ship management services of high quality, with a paramount focus on safety. The company, as an integral component of the shipping sector, has the responsibility to oversee ship management operations. Its primary objectives include safeguarding the well-being and development of company's staff on board, ensuring the secure functioning of the managed vessels, and mitigating environmental damage. <br/>The managed vessels adhere to the provisions outlined in both the domestic and international rules and regulations, as well as the guidelines produced by relevant maritime industry organizations or authorities. The proposed new mission statement must be deliberated during the management committee meeting and be officially unveiled in the annual team conference or teambuilding event of MMSM. <br/>MMSM exhibits commendable internal performance through its above-average outcomes and robust financial standing. However, there is room for improvement in terms of its limitation and weaknesses such as bonded by ship management agreement, limited ship capacity, specific qualifications of seafarers, and limited number of dry-docking facilities. These enhancements necessary for MMSM to attain a leading position and capitalize on the escalating competition. <br/>Constructed on the research outcomes, enhancing the company's standing can be accomplished by augmenting its market presence in ongoing initiatives via market expansion and intensified marketing endeavors facilitated by market penetration. Furthermore, MMSM has the potential to expand its operations into hitherto untapped regions by using comprehensive marketing strategies. <br/>Based on the analysis conducted by the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), it is anticipated that Magsaysay MOL Ship Management, Inc. will experience greater advantages from market development due to the ongoing infrastructure initiatives implemented by the government. Consequently, the company considers exploring potential opportunities to establish new ventures in regions where such developments are already feasible. The employment of government infrastructure offers several advantages as it fulfills the crucial criteria of accessibility and convenience, which have significant importance for firms when determining the optimal location for their activities. The diversification of Magsaysay M0L Ship Management's project portfolio will confer a distinct advantage to the company, augmenting its reputation and solidifying its position as a highly reputable contender in the shipping industry. |
