General note ABSTRACT:
Fast food establishment in The Philippines, in particular, are beginning to adopt artificial intelligence in the food and beverage sector. Artificial Intelligence can lower employment rates for blue, white, and even pink-collar occupations, according to several research. However, studies have also demonstrated that artificial intelligence may assist employees in producing work of a better standard. The purpose of this study is to discover whether there are any noticeable differences in how Jollibee employees perceive the potential opportunities and threats of Jollibots to their morale/ well-being and productivity.
In order to compile the responses to the survey questionnaire’s essential research questions, a quantitative research approach was used. A total of 115 Jollibee employees were randomly selected from each of the four SM Aura – Bonifacio Global City, Glorietta by Ayala Malls, West Zamora Pandacan, and Baesa Quezon City branches. One hundred percent of people responded.
Analysis of the data revealed that there is a substantial gap between how Jollibee employees view the opportunity and threat that Jollibots offer to their morale, well-being, and productivity. It demonstrates that the opportunistic perceptions of Jollibee employees about the Jollibots vastly exceed the threats. The researchers advise the hospitality sector to carry out more study on artificial intelligence in order to raise awareness.
