Action note: In: Summary: Abstract Understanding consumers' preferences about various shopping modes has become crucial for businesses in Manila given the growing popularity of e-commerce and the rise of hybrid shopping experiences. This study aims to explore how in-store, online, and hybrid modes of shopping are perceived by consumers in Manila and examine the factors affecting their preferences in selecting modes of shopping. The research employed in the paper is quantitative correlational. A diverse sample of shoppers, a total of 267 shopping preferences in Sampaloc, Manila are given a survey questionnaire. The questionnaire gauges respondents' preferences regarding factors such as convenience, accessibility, price, product range and quality across the three shopping modes. The data collected from the survey are analyzed using statistical techniques and ANOVA. The results reveal that the most preferred mode of shopping in Sampaloc, Manila is Hybrid mode of shopping (combination of in-store and online shopping). The result also indicates that price and quality have a significant impact on consumer preferences in selecting in-store shopping. While convenience is the only factor that is found to be significant in influencing consumer preferences in selecting online shopping. Additionally, convenience, accessibility, price and quality are the factors that play a significant role in consumer preferences for hybrid shopping. In addition, the study identifies potential opportunities for retailers and e-commerce platforms to enhance customer satisfaction. The results can help businesses and retailers adiust their strategy to meet the evolving needs and preferences of customers in the digital age. Retallers can create excellent shopping experiences for customers in Manila and beyond by maximizing their resources and developing efficient marketing strategies based on an awareness of the specific benefits and drawbacks of each shopping mode.
