ABSTRACT: The study aims to determine the relationship between depression and self-efficacy among college students. This study was conducted to help thes tudents to become more aware of their own psychological health and how they can cope up the feeling of being depressed. Participants in the study were BS Psychology students from Pamantasan ng Lungosd ng Maynila age range within 16-20 years old. To measure the level of depression of the students, the researcher used Beck Depression Inventory, and General Self-Efficacy Scale to measure the level of self-efficacy. For problems 1 and 2, the researcher used descriptive statisitcs including frequency and percentage, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation was used for problem 3 to determine the relationship between the variables (depression and self-efficacy). Based on the analysis of results, there is a significant negative correlation between depression and self-efficacy among college students. Implementation of the proposed Mood Management Program is recommended to help the students to reduce their level of depression and enhance their self-efficacy.
