Self-esteem varies in different levels: Low, Average and High Self-Esteem, each levels carries distinctive effects in the behaviors and views of a person. Self-esteem starts to develop in early childhood and there are different factors that influences the levels of self-esteem among individuals, but above all the factors that affects the levels of self-esteem, the researcher was interested to find out the relationship between parental absenteeism and the levels of self-esteem among adolescents. Students (N=200) from selected public schools in Manila completed an Absentee Parent Profile and the Levels of Self-esteem among Adolescents.
