It aimed to determine how the gamers interact with their co-gamer friends and how they allocate and manage their time to be with their friends and non-gamer friends and how they allocate and manage their time to be with their friends who plays and doesn't play the game DOTA 1 and LOL. Twenty-four students from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila who plays the said game for at least three years were interviewed. Gaming was also a way for them to interact more, gain friends, and release stress while having more time to play together. However, the study also showed some negative effects where the gamers have less communication to their non-gamer friends when it comes to gaming just for the sole reason that their non-gamer friends when it comes to gaming just for the sole reason that their non-gamer friends relate about the game. It also showed that the gamers have the tendency to gamble., physically and verbally abuse their co-gamers when annoyed on game. Nevertheless, some of the non-gamers tried to engage in the game and enjoyed and understood why their gamer friends play the game. Based on the results, the researcher recommended that the gamers should be aware of the bad implications of playing excessively and be equally in touch with reality.
