Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: This study sought to analyze the effectiveness of Corregidor as a dark tourism destination. Descriptive design was employed in this study, the researchers conducted a random survey on the local and international tourists of Corregidor with 104 respondents, 96 of them were Filipinos while 8 were foreigners, random sampling was utilized, the main data gathering tool used is a researcher-made questionnaire and was approved by the faculty of the Tourism Institute of the College of Business Management of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, a five point rating scale has been used with 5 categorized as strongly agree and 1 as strongly disagree. Data analysis employed is qualitative method which explains the reasons and motivational factors of tourists local and international in visiting Corregidor Island Data gathering procedure were started after the pre-testing of the questionnaire to some selected tourists, the system used for the data analysis is the SPSS for the results on the t-test; ANOVA and p-value of the respondents.
