ABSTRACT: In an era dominated by technological advancements, Businesses around the world utilize social media platforms to promote connections and expand their brand awareness. This study explores the significant impact of Facebook on small businesses situated in Tondo, Manila. Through a combination of descriptive research design and quantitative methodology, data was collected from 100 establishments, encompassing demographic elements such as age, gender, number of posts, current followers, and sales metrics. The study focuses on determining if notable advantages exist for small businesses both before and after embracing social media platforms. It also sheds light on the challenges faced by these businesses in effectively utilizing social media for business growth. Findings highlight the multifaceted benefits, encompassing enhanced engagement, increased sales, amplified follower growth, and augmented revenue. The research methodology employed various statistical tools, including frequency distribution, percentage calculation, weighted mean, Pearson correlation, descriptive ranking, and ranking. The data analysis was executed using the IBM SPSS Statistics Software, ensuring precision and efficiency. The study focuses on specific establishments in Tondo, Manila with a specific examination of Facebook usage. In conclusion, this study offers crucial insights for small businesses seeking to harness the potential of social media platforms. It not only unravels the demographic difficulty of these enterprises but also provides a comprehensive understanding of the advantages and challenges associated with integrating social media into business strategies. The findings aim to empower small-businesses with actionable information to optimize their online presence and foster sustainable growth in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
