ABSTRACT This study aimed to understand the impact of digital wallets, specifically GCash, on millennial spending habits by identifying their level of acceptance and adoption and their correlation, utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) version 2. The researchers employed a quantitative approach, specifically using descriptive correlation. A stratified sampling of 381 millennial m-commerce consumers from Manila who were surveyed online comprised the respondents of this study. The findings revealed a significant relationship between the level of acceptance and the adoption of GCash among millennials. The study also identified significant differences in the level of GCash acceptance across various demographic profiles, where higher monthly incomes, more frequent usage, advanced educational backgrounds, and specific employment statuses were associated with greater acceptance. However, gender did not significantly impact acceptance levels. Additionally, the researchers found significant differences in GCash adoption levels, with higher adoption rates observed among those with higher incomes, frequent usage, advanced education, and specific employment statuses. Moreover, the study identified a significant difference in the impact of GCash on spending habits in terms of level of acceptance between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Furthermore, the results revealed no significant difference in the impact of GCash on spending habits concerning the level of adoption between facilitating conditions and social influence, while others have significant differences. Findings from this study have proven beneficial to marketers, GCash stakeholders, e-wallet users, and future researchers. Keywords: acceptance of GCash, adoption of GCash, consumer spending habits, millennials.
