Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT The integration of modern technology has brought about a significant transformation in workplace training and development, requiring organizations to embrace new methods to preserve a competitive advantage and prevent disparities between employee competencies and professional capacities. This study aims to determine the significance relationship between the competency readiness and the training and development trend factors such as technological updates, experiences, and education in human resource management (HRM). The study also aimed to determine the significant difference in the competency readiness of respondents concerning demographics profile of the respondents. The researchers employed a quantitative approach, utilizing an online survey questionnaire to collect data from 93 respondents. The questionnaire's validity was assessed using Cronbach's Alpha. Purposive sampling was utilized to select participants. Various statistical analyses, such as frequency and distribution, descriptive statistics and interpretation, Spearman Rho, Mann-Whitney U, and Kruskal-Wallis H, were conducted to examine correlations between variables. The study revealed that training and development programs can exhibit substantial variations depending on the respondents' level of education, experience, and access to technological updates. Furthermore, the level of readiness of HRM graduates in terms of capability may differ in other domains, including business management and leadership skills, human capital development skills, communication and interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking and planning skills. Findings from the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the competency readiness of the respondents and the training and development trend factors, and there is no significant difference in competency readiness among graduates based on their age, gender, employment status and job level.
