ABSTRACT: This study aimed to investigate the influence of management accounting practices on the business performance of SMEs in San Juan City, Metro Manila. The researchers utilized a descriptive and correlational research design, and the data were collected from 280 respondents through a survey questionnaire distributed via Google forms. The researchers found that SMEs in San Juan City frequently employ management accounting practices, specifically budgeting, cost management, and strategic analysis. These practices significantly contributed to the development of SMEs' financial position, financial performance, and supply chain management. Particularly noteworthy is the positive impact of management accounting practices on product service innovation within SMEs. Moreover, the study indicated that medium enterprises exhibit a higher implementation rate of strategic analysis and possess a stronger financial position compared to small enterprises. Overall, this research underscored the substantial influence of effective management accounting practices on the business performance of SMEs and emphasized the importance of their adoption for long-term sustainability and competitiveness in the San Juan City business landscape.
