Action note: In: Summary: Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force, revolutionizing industries across the globe. In the banking sector, Al technologies hold tremendous promise, enabling efficient automation, data analysis, and enhanced customer experiences. However, this unprecedented technological shift has raised concerns about its potential impact on job security, stirring anxieties among banking service providers. This study aims to understand how banking service providers in Tondo, Manila, see artificial intelligence and how they see it affecting their jobs. It can provide valuable insights into the adoption and impact of Al in a specific geographic region and inform policymakers, bank organizations, and human resource professionals. This study used surveys, to which 123 employed bank service providers working in Tondo, Manila, responded. The data gathered was statistically analyzed and further discussed with the use of statistical tools such as frequency, percentage, and weighted average means. The results drew the conclusion that the bank employees, most of whom work in universal banks, are aware of the concept of artificial intelligence and some of its applications, such as customer service chatbots and virtual assistants, fraud detection, and risk management. As much as they are aware of the applications, they are also aware of the challenges and limitations caused by the use of artificial intelligence, mainly data privacy and security concerns. They are also aware that the continuous use of artificial intelligence in their jobs may have a possible impact on their job security. There are worries that mainly concern the possibility of an employee's skills not matching artificial intelligence's continuous improvements and, therefore, the possibility of their roles being reduced. The researchers recommend that the different banking organizations use ways that can increase the workers' understanding of artificial intelligence. The banking organizations should also consider taking courses of action that can result in their employees enhancing their skills to be able to work with artificial intelligence. This will result in giving employees a greater sense of security that they can continuously work in banks. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, banking industry, finance, job security, employee perception. Other editions:
