Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: Nowadays, people would prefer to eat in a fast food chain rather than dining in at fancy restaurants. Products that are appealing to the budget of the masses have been the main factor on choosing the most convenient eating place. The researchers have chosen McDonald's as the focus of their study because it is one of the most popular fast food chain around the world. Based on the study, half of the population in this generation is millennial, so they preferred the students to be their target respondents. Moreover, McDonald's is a budget friendly fast food chain offering various products in a price affordable to college students. The researchers have come up with a problem statement of the product preference for McDonald's product offering among selected college students in Intramuros, Manila. The researchers assumed that the allowance of the students have no significant effect on their product preferences when it comes to the product offerings of McDonald's. The researchers will conduct their study using descriptive method with the use of survey questionnaire asking the target respondents of the study. The target respondents of the study are the selected college students in Intramuros, Manila. Purposively, fifty survey (50) questionnaires are distributed to gather the needed data To come up with good and reliable sources, the researchers used both primary and secondary type of data. As for primary data, they conducted surveys in the two branches of McDonald's within the Intramuros premises, namely the McDonald's Bayleaf and McDonald's Muralla. They chose the above mentioned branches because it is surrounded by college students, and the respondents are limited by twenty five students in each store while as their secondary source of data, they have also used and included some valuable ideas found in the Related Literature of Studies that will be tackled in the succeeding pages. After conducting the survey, the researchers used the IBM SPSS which is also known as Statistical Packages of Social Science to further organize the data through the provided frequencies and tables. Specifically, frequency and percentage method were used as well as the Chi Square Test of Independency to interpret the hypothesis of this study. Further, with the help of SPSS, the researchers were able to formulate tables and graphs that made them know the result easier, faster and with greater accuracy. The researchers came up with summary findings. Based on the data gathered, the researchers concluded that the Null hypothesis is false. The null hypothesis of the researchers says that the weekly allowance of the selected college students in Intramuros, Manila has no significant effect on their preferred McDonald's product offering. The researchers would like to recommend that the McDonald's company should fully know the products that are most preferred by the college students so that they could continue the sale of such products and encourage others to try it. The company should also know the products that are not appealing to the college students so they could effort in promoting those products as well. Other editions:
