ABSTRACT: This study aims to know if the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)'s three (3) specific Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs namely-Automotive Service, Electronics and Tourism have a significant impact on the employment rate in National Capital Region. The researchers gathered data from the TESDA planning office. The data were treated using the Linear Regression Model. The result showed that Automotive and Tourism significantly affects the employment rate. Electronics on the other hand do not. Such insignificance to the employment rate in NCR could be explained by the low population of Electronics graduates. The result showed that only Automotive constitutes an increase in the employment rate while Tourism have an indirect relationship with employment rate. This thesis will serve as a statistical support to the TESDA's TVET programs. By the result garnered in this study, the researchers aim to show how skill specialization helps an individual increase his/her qualifications to improve his/her status in the labor market.
