Specifically, it aims to answer what is the demographic profile of the respondents as to age, gender, civil status, educational attainment, subject taught and years of teaching; what are the different information technology/equipment available in the locale of the study; what is the perception of the respondents towards information technology; and if there is a significant difference between the perception of the traditional and neophyte teachers toward information technology. The researchers utilize and make use of the descriptive method of research. Descriptive method aims to ascertain and determine the general or typical characteristics of existing or current conditions of the population at given time. It is a fact-finding study with adequate and accurate interpretation of the findings. The respondents of the study are traditional and neophyte teachers in Public High School. Traditional teachers are those who are at ten years in their field and neophyte teachers are those who have only three years in experience. The target respondents are fifty but the researcher come up with forty four respondent only using the purposive technique. The researcher utilized the questionnaire as the major instrument in gathering data. Unstructured interview, and observation were also used to supplement and validate the information gathered through the questionnaire. To present the problem (1) which is on the demographic profile of the respondents, the researchers used frequency distribution and percentage, the researcher also utilized these statistical tool to present the problem (2), on different information technology/ equipment available in the locale of the study. To present problem (3), the perception of traditional and neophyte teachers towards the information technology, average weighted mean was used. And to present problem (4), if there is a significant difference between the perception of traditional and neophyte teachers towards information technology-test was utilized. Other editions:
