ABSTRACT: This paper tries to uncover the long and short-term determinate of selecting teaching as a career. A survey was carried out the motives of students as to why they choose to become teachers. The results of this study are compared with those from similar studies carried out in other countries. The researchers have focused data collection on identifying the persons, experiences, events and other factors that have influenced as a person's decision to teach music. The aim of this paper is to identify important determinants of becoming a teacher.
