Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: The growing number of Filipinos abroad is no secret to most people. Doctors, nurses, maids and eventually, even teachers are lured by the better life that the migration to abroad represents. This thesis entitled Factors that Affect the Willingness of Graduating PLM Teacher Education Students towards Teaching Abroad endeavors to present reasons that may encourage young graduates to go abroad. Through a survey questionnaire, the opinions of the selected graduating education students of CHD are solicited. According to the survey, majority of the respondents are willing to go abroad if the opportunity arises, due to the following reasons: low salary, benefits and incentives; less opportunity for employment, career and personal growth; no program incentives for education students. With the data and the related news clippings, the researchers suggested some measures for the government and the educational institutions to consider which can be found in Chapter V. Other editions:
