Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: With its humble beginning as a campus within a mall, Informatics Philippines now grows to be one of the country's leading academic and training institutions inn terms of Information Technology. In this study entitled : A Historical Research on Informatics Philippines: Basis for a Commemorative Book on its 20th Anniversary, the proponents made a thorough research on the history of the institution focusing on the following: a.) the significant people and their contributions in shaping its history; b.) the important events that highlighted its history and have an impact not only in the institution but also in the society where it operates; c.) the achievements or recognitions that it received for the past two decades as an educational institution; and d.) the future plans it has for the years ahead. The researchers used historical and descriptive-analysis method of research in the conduct of the study. Interview guide; backtracking of Informatics' history as an educational institution and collecting published documents are also used to enhance the study and produce a commemorative book entitled: Itinerary: Intersections and Beyond.
