ABSTRACT: In this study, the researcher aimed to determine the possible occurrence of parasites on the gills, scales and muscle tissues of Dalag (Ophicephalus striatus). Thirty piece of Dalag (Ophicerphalus striatus) were purchased from Brgy. Caysio, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and were used as test specimen. Pithing and dissection were employed to obtain the gills, scales and muscle tissues of the specimen. The parts were then prepared and studies under the microscope to identify the parasites that may be present. Results showed that the gills, scales and muscle tissues of the said specimen were devoid of parasites.
