ABSTRACT: The tap 'n' Charge: RFID Security Charging Hub addresses the pressing security vulnerability associated with public charging stations, which exposes mobile device users to potential risks. Additionally, it tackles operational challenges faced by convenience stores, particularly those relying on coin-based charging systems and struggling with revenue tracking. Utilizing Arduino and RFID technology, this IoT system not only enhances security but also introduces innovative features for seamless vashless transactions, thereby mitigating risks associated with traditional payment methods. By integrating a Sales Forecasting System powered by the XGboost Algorithm, this solution enables precise sales predictions, as evidenced by its remarkable accuracy rates: 92.84% for Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and 87.57% for Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Through the implementation of Tap 'n' Charge, businesses operating charging stations or convenience stores can significantly streamline their revenue tracking processes while enhancing the overall user experience. This transformative innovation not only addresses existing concerns but also sets a new standard for efficiency in the realm of device charging and retail operations.
