ABSTRACT: Some universities in the Philippines still conduct voting on paper, which makes them susceptible to data tampering, fraud, and data loss. Additonally, the study indicates that manual voting systems could result in inaccuracies. With that being said, the proponents of the research developed an Online Voting System using a Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit. In accordance with the standards provided by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 25010, which underwent a survey and test. This research was demonstrated to the selected students of Pamantsan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in order to ensure that the functionalities of the system match the said standards and that the objectives of the study are achieved. In this study, the evaluation's findings show that the system had a significant effect on the respondents. The Automated Voting System received a mean score of 4.42, or Very Good, for Functional Suitability. The Automated Voting System scored a mean of 4.35 for Usability, which translates to Very Good, and a mean of 4.34 for Reliability , which corresponds to Excellent. Last but not least, the Automated Voting System identified a mean of 4.37, which denotes Very Good Security. The Automated Voting System received a mean score of 4.37 overall scores four (4) criteria, which is considered Very Good.
