The study aimed to determine the teachers' level of awareness and commitment to the DepEd-provided school's vision-mission and its correlation to school academic performance. This descriptive-correlational study was conducted at Culiat High School Quezon City which involved the eighty (80) teachers of five (5) departments. The null hypothesis on the significant relationship among the four (4) variables such as the vision-mission, awareness, commitment and school performance were processed employing the Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The findings of the study are the following: The teachers' overall mean on their level of awareness to the DepEd vision and mission is very high. This implies that teachers of Culiat High School are very much knowledgeable on the content of the DepEd vision-mission statements. Likewise, the teachers' overall mean on their level of commitment to the DepEd vision and mission is very high. This strengthens further that teachers of Culiat High School are committed to perform those statements as well. Thus, there is a significant relationship between the teachers' level of awareness and level of commitment to the school's vision-mission. However, there is a need to improve more the school's vision-mission, hence, there is no significant relationship between the teachers' level of awareness and level of commitment to the school's vision-mission and the school level of academic performance which proves of a need for more commitment for educational excellence of teachers as well as the students and other stakeholders to truly improve the school performance. It is recommended that yearly evaluation of teachers' performance must be measured based on whether the teachers' written plans, commitments and accomplishments are aligned or not to the DepEd vision-mission. Furthermore, the school must conduct activities that can foster more relationships and partnerships to the external stakeholders like community for their active involvement in school to further enhance the school academic performance.
