ABSTRACT: The purpose of the study is to know the health practices and compliance of hypertensive PLM administrative employees in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of hypertension. This study used a descriptive research design that made use of a program called Oplan BP and the researchers disseminated a survey questionnaire using 5-point Likert scale that is composed of their demographic profile, which includes age, gender, civil status and their blood pressure with and without medications, health practices, compliance in both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of hypertension and factors that could affect non-compliance to treatment. The total number of the population is 40 respondents. All the data gathered were tallied and analyzed accordingly. The results showed that hypertensive PLM administrative employees often comply in both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of hypertension; however, most of the respondents have a sedentary lifestyle practice. As an implication, the researchers would like to recommend the respondents to engage in an active and healthy lifestyle living and to educate them about the importance of compliance in both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of hypertension.
