This study entitled Stressors, Manifestation and Coping Strategies of Psychiatric Nurses in National Center for Mental Health aims to identify the different stressors experienced by the psychiatric nurses in the said institution may it be internal or external. This study highlighted the different physical, emotional/psychological, cognitive and behavioral manifestations of stress as well as the coping mechanisms commonly used by the psychiatric nurses. Furthermore, it seeks to identify the effects of these variables to the psychiatric nurses' working performance. The researchers utilized descriptive research design in exploring and describing a phenomenon in real-life situation. The study was conducted at the National Center for Mental Health which thirty-five respondents were selected. Psychiatric nurses were chosen by the researchers as their respondents to fully understand the stressors which are particular in their field of work. In addition, they have a different type of clients which needs psychiatric treatment as compared to a normal hospital setting. Purposive Sampling or Selective Sampling was employed by the researchers to gather data. It was based on the researcher's knowledge to consciously select certain subjects, elements or criteria to be included in the study. The researchers used a five-point Likert scale in the questionnaire to measure the frequency of each variable. Percentage, Weighted Mean and Chi-square test for independence were utilized as the statistical treatment. Other editions:
