Action note: In: Summary: Summary: The study aimed to assess the learning styles of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) nursing students in Basic Concepts in Nursing and through such assessment, develop guidelines to learning. The learning styles that were assessed were Visual, Auditory, and Tactile-Kinesthetic learning styles. The researchers wanted to specifically answer four key questions. First was the determination of the respondent's profile in terms of their gender, academic performance and age. Second was the determination of the learning styles used by the PLM nursing students. Third was the existence of a significant relationship between the respondents learning styles and their profile in terms of gender, age and academic performance. Lastly, the researchers developed a guideline to learning which aimed to increase learning style awareness and improve learning abilities and strategies. The researchers utilized a descriptive-correlational approach in the conduct of the study. A 30-item self-report questionnaire was utilized to collect the data from the respondents. The instrument was adapted, modified and validated by experts. It was consisted of two parts. The first part consisted of the profile of the respondents namely their gender, age and academic performance that was computed from their Basic Concepts in Nursing A and B grades.
