Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: This study entitled Job Satisfaction of Nurses and the Delivery of Quality Nursing Care at Tondo Manila Medical Center: An Assessment was conducted in order to determine the relationship of the nurse's level of job satisfaction and the delivery of quality nursing care as perceived by the patient. Specific questions regarding the subject were raised to give due consideration to the various factors affecting the involved variables and to guide the conduct of the study in general. The study was conducted at Tondo Medical Center through the cooperation of the nurse and patient respondents, who were selected through an identified sampling technique. A set of questionnaires was given to the samples, and their responses together with other related literature were analyzed and interpreted by the researchers. In conclusion, the researchers have found that there had been no existing significant differences between the demographic profiles of nurse and patient respondents to their level of job satisfaction and their perception on the delivery of quality nursing care. There had also been no significant relationship between the level of job satisfaction of nurses and the patient's perception on the delivery of quality nursing care. Other editions:
