Seven (7) informants were interviewed from Balic balic, Sampaloc, Manila based from the criteria set by the researchers. Using Collaizi's method of interpretation for phenomenological studies, a general description of the lived experience of being a teenage mother was developed. Unstructured questions are used to ask the informants whole experiences. Actual quotations from the interviews are utilized to illustrate three themes. These are revisiting the life that was before teenage motherhood, phases of teenage motherhood and teenage mothers experiencing the need of support system. Each theme has subthemes. Revisiting the life that was before teenage motherhood has two subthemes. The first subtheme is teenage mothers compared their present life with that of the past which tackles of the comparison of their lives before and after becoming a mother while the second subtheme, teenage mothers remembering their dreams, discusses the dreams the informants aspired to be. The second theme, phases of teenage mother, simply discusses the stages the informants have been throughout their experience. It has three subthemes which are teenage mothers experienced fear of the consequences of becoming pregnant, teenage mothers experiencing the need of support system. Lastly, points of reflection of teenage mothers as the third theme discusses the reasons behind their early pregnancy, lessons learned and wished to share to the younger generation. It also has three subthemes which are teenage mothers identified factors associated with the pregnancy, teenage mothers recognized life values after the pregnancy and teenage mothers imparting lessons learned to the youth, With these themes emerged possible solutions and implications for further nursing research discussed.
