ABSTRACT: Work-Related Musculosketal Disorders (WRMSDs) was defined as a large group of conditions that were often focused on a joint and affect the muscles and bones. This study helps the readers understand the occurrence, causes and prevalence of work-related musculosketal disorders and what were the PT Implications the researchers have deducted from the result of the study. A descriptive research design was used by to determine the prevalence and a questionnaire was utilized to attain data. Physical therapists were the chosen respondents due to the stress and load of their work that will predispose them in acquiring WRMSDs. A total number of 84 respondents were obtained from the different rehabilitation centers in Metro Manila. Validated questionnaires were randomly given to the respondents. The gathered data were tabulated and interpreted using IBM SPSS 20. Also Pearson correlation was utilized. The results showed that musculosketal disorders were prevalent among licensed physical therapists in Metro Manila. Conclusion: In accordance with the results of the thesis, the researchers therefore conclude that musculosketal disorders were prevalent among Licensed Physical Therapists in selected rehabilitation centers in Metro Manila. The researchers observed that as physical therapists became more aware of the risks of WRMSDs, the more they disregard applying the principles of proper body mechanics. Physical therapists are fully knowledgeable on the matter of their work and the dangers it may imposed on their body but then they were lacking on application of the said principle.
