ABSTRACT:PLM-CBR is an outpatient rehabilitation facility inside Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila campus. It also serves as training facility for its own Fifth Year - Physical Therapy students during their clinical internship. The purpose of this study is to conduct an ergonomic assessment in the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila-Community Based Rehabilitation Clinic. The Ergonomic characteristics of PLM CBR was assessed using the International Labour Office's (ILO) ergonomic checklist. Three interns assigned for the month of January were observed during two patient contacts each to determine the biomechanical soundness of their tasks during patient management. In view of obtained results from the ergonomics checklist of ILO, PLM CBR clinic acquired a higher proportion of complied checkpoints in material storage and handling, premises and work organization while lower proportion of complied checkpoints in machine safety, workstation design, lighting, hazardous substances and agents and welfare facilities. There are many ergonomic checkpoints that are needed to be prioritized. On the other hand, there is high percentage of non-biomechanically sound in the tasks of three interns during patient contact.
