Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT:Low back pain is one of the common conditions complained by Barangay Tanod encountered by physical therapist around Intramuros, Manila. Untreated low back pain may continue as a chronic disease that can impale the maximum function of an individual and decrease productivity of daily duties. The purpose of this study is to investigate the prevalence of low back pain and determine its risk factors among the tanods of the said barangays of Intramuros, Manila. A total of 55 participants were surveyed using a descriptive assessment tool made by the researchers that is validated by CBR experts. Amongst the 55 participants surveyed, 43 out of 55 reported that they experienced low back pain. The study suggest that there is a high occurrence of low back pain amongst the Barangay Tanod of Intramuros, Manila. Other editions:
