Contributor(s): Low test results is also indication that students did not clearly perceive some of the curriculum's teaching objective for learning. | The education program used for teaching reproductive health in high school does not guarantee a lot of learning on application and skills, since most respondents got their lowest scores under the use and physiological effect of contraceptive. Recommendation The following are the recommendations based on the findings of this study. 1

Subject(s): Based on the study, there were a lot of male and female reproductive parts that were absent or left undiscussed academically especially those of the female external anatomy | Greater frequencies of less and least ranges representing student extent of knowledge were found, than the great and greatest ranges in every topic on reproductive physiology. Conclusions The result of the statistical treatment of the data revealed a very high positive correlation between physiological and contraceptive extent of knowledge on reproductive health with (r=0.9964). In addition, the null hypothesis tested at 0.05 level of significance was rejected. Thus, there really is a very high significant relationship between the extent of student knowledge on physiological and contraceptive method. The very high significant relationship between reproductive Physiology and contraceptive method indicates that both has an effect with one another in terms of students learning. This lead into a conclusion that a limited input of knowledge in reproductive physiology affects students understanding about contraceptive and vice versa. The following refers to the present curriculum and learning competencies that had resulted to the students low extent of knowledge in both physiological and contraceptive aspects of reproductive health. | In terms of information and learning experiences, it was observed in the study that both physiological and contraceptive aspects of reproductive health received minimal input of learning affecting students test results and awareness. ABSTRACT: Statement of the Problem
The study is to analyze the extent of knowledge on reproductive health, and its implication to curriculum
Specifically, it will answer the following questions 1.
What is the extent of student's knowledge on reproductive health as to physiological aspects in the following variables? a.
Male reproductive physiology b.
Female reproductive c.
Functional relation and organization of reproductive organs d.
Internal and external structure e.
Reproductive physiology and health 2.
What is the extent of student's knowledge on reproductive health as to contraceptive method based on the following variables? a.
Birth control method b.
Specific contraceptive c.
Familiarity to forms and structures e.
Importance and use f.
Physiological effect 3.
Is there a significant relation between the extent of student knowledge as to physiological and contraceptive method? 4.
What implications can be derived from the results of the study? Methodology
The research design used was a descriptive method so that it tends to be more accurate on describing the major aspects of what the respondents learned on reproductive physiology and family planning method. It can interpret and analyze data from the nature of present situation. A method that would expose the reality of such cause and effect. A purposive sampling procedure was used to determine the exclusivity of the sample. This is to derive for 240 desired number of respondents which is 6% of the total second year public high school students in Pasay City. The questionnaire was utilized research-made instrument for this was personally constructed by the researcher, and the system of interview is with a structures system to insure that all respondents are asked the same questions. Furthermore, a quantitative data collections was conducted since the test has areas or sub topics and the respondents were only asked to choose the letter of the correct answer that were measured as right or wrong. Statistical Treatment: Under data analysis, the statistical methods employed to find answers to specific questions 1 and 2 was a researcher-utilized mean, weighted mean, and ranking. To answer specific problem 3-the researcher made used of r correlation respectively. Summary of Findings: Based on the results of the study, the findings were as follows: 1.
Respondent's fall under the rating of fair or less extent knowledge in reproductive physiology. This serves as an output or result of the present curriculum use in the said subject.
