Pearson r and the t test for the significance of r were used to test the null hypothesis and determine the relationship of the three variables. A statistically significant correlation was observed among the variables: parental involvement, study habits and attitudes and anxiety level of the respondent. Open communication and close parent and child relationship specially with teenagers help anxiety level, either high or low become manageable. The adolescent stage is the believed to be the most crucial and challenging stage in human life stages. It is a transition to adulthood where one is expected to be prepared and efficient. Adolescents are bounded by dilemmas due to the crisis that they are experience. They are the group most vulnerable to the effect of anxiety. Close relationship with parents may lessen or ameliorate anxiety. In addition, the sincerity of parental involvement reflect on the attitude of adolescents towards schooling. The degree of parental involvement can be judged through the adolescent's aspiration, appropriate disposition towards achievement. An adolescent with a happy and contended relationship with a parent encourage longer stay at school, enjoyment of school requirements and activities, better behavior, help increase academic performance and better disposition towards life's challenges. Conclusively, appropriate and satisfying parental relation can be a tool to enhance learning and lessen or ameliorate anxiety. Other editions:
